Chris Mayhew has years of training in his jersey pocket, and uses that knowledge to train cyclists at all skill and fitness levels. Besides bringing enthusiasm, support, and motivation to the field, his deep knowledge of and ability to analyze power meter numbers gives his riders an upper hand on following their own progress and nurturing their own strengths. This keeps riders working towards tangible results, as shown through Mayhew's riders winning races, upgrading categories, and coming back every season.

Detailed coaching and training for all levels of athletes; from beginners to pros. Our strong point is identifying strengths and limiters for each athlete and craft tailored training that fits within each schedule. We take a careful and ongoing look at day to day real world situations with the understanding that while endurance sports are often a huge part of our lives, there are actually other things going on that effect our performance. We offer updated training plans built around a yearly and/or seasonal training plan based on feedback. We don't limit the amount of interaction we have with our clients because we believe in adjusting your training according to analysis of performance data and life balance to get as much feedback from our clients as possible.

I have been actively involved with MABRA since 1993. I raced with NCVC from 1993-1998 and then was hired to coach & race with Team Gold Sports for the 1999 season. In 2000 I founded the Evolution Cycling Club and coached/raced with them from 2000-2009. From 2010 to present I have coached the Syn-Fit Race Team. I’ve coached beginning bike racers to National Champions, RAAM competitors and Sprint to Ironman Triathletes. I have been a full time fitness professional (coaching/personal training) since 1997.
