2009 Annual Meeting
MABRA Annual Meeting
Date Saturday, January 10, 2009 ; 1:00PM- 4:00PM (presentation by AMB i.t. Timing Systems at 12:00pm)
Location: West County Library, 1325 Annapolis Rd, Odenton MD 21113
To all clubs and members: The MABRA Board invites all clubs and interested members to attend the MABRA annual meeting on Saturday, January 10, 2009 in Odenton, MD (note the change of venue). The meeting will take place from 1:00PM until 4:00PM. Amendments to our by-laws, bids for championship events, and 2009 event calendar dates will be covered.
Starting at noon, just prior to the general meeting, Joe Phillips of AMB I.T. Race Timing and Scoring Systems (http://www.amb-it.com/) will give a presentation about the products and services his company can provide, and about the costs and features of electronic timing systems for cycling in general. Several local cycling associations in the U.S. have adopted chip timing for their events, and we want to explore whether MABRA can benefit from adopting this technology. Bring your questions!
